Gala Raises Nearly $200,000!

Guests at  the June 9th Gala not only paid tribute to the honorees, but also opened their hearts and their wallets to support The Guidance Center's mission.   A touching video featuring clients as well as staff set the stage for Bob Marrone, radio host of "Good Morning Westchester" on WVOX.  Mr. Marrone got the crowd going during the live auction, adding another $8,100 to the Gala's income.

CBS Anchor Mary Calvi, presented the awards to Richard Goodman, Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo, and the husband-and-wife team of Fred Ellman, toy inventor, and Joan Raiselis, artist.  "While the honorees each contribute to the agency in different ways," said Ms. Calvi, "what brings them together is the passion they share for The Guidance Center. They belive in the work this agency does, and they know the strength of our communities lies in our desire to help one another."

The Gala raised nearly $200,000 to support The Guidance Center's programs and services.
