Special Needs Programs & Services

Special Class in Inclusive Setting (SCIS)
Children with an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) learn alongside their typically developing peers. A certified special education teacher co-teaches with a general education teacher and a teaching assistant to offer a higher teacher:student ratio and more support for learners with special needs.
Related services of physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST) are provided onsite. Children receive services in a familiar setting and parents and caregivers have less schedule juggling.
SCIS is available in our New Rochelle and Peekskill locations.
special classes
Certified special education teachers provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of children who have a variety of special needs. Class sizes of 6, 8, or, 12 are available, depending on the needs of the child.
Related services of physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST) are provided onsite.
Special classes are offered at New Rochelle and Peekskill.
Parent College
The Parent College is open one night per month to all parents and caregivers who have a child enrolled in the Creative Learning Center. Each month, Parent College explores a new topic related to parenting skills and child development. Time is allotted for parents to network and build relationships with each other.
