Our Mental Health & Substance Use Urgent Care is now open for anyone seeking support. No appointment or referral required. EVERYONE seen regardless of ability to pay.

WALK-IN services: 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday, 256 Washington Street, Mount Vernon, NY. Link to map.

The Mental Health & Substance Use Urgent Care is a resource for:

  • people seeking help for the first time;

  • those who regularly participate in treatment but need additional support between appointments (you do not have to be a TGCW program participant to use the Urgent Care);

  • people of all ages.

The Urgent Care can help when you or someone you love is:

  • feeling sad, depressed, or anxious;

  • seeking wellness & personal growth;

  • experiencing thoughts of suicide;

  • living through grief or loss;

  • self-harming (e.g.: cutting);

  • struggling with alcohol or other substance use (e.g.: pills, marijuana, heroin, etc.);

  • seeking psychiatric support, including medication.
