The Guidance Center Partners with the United Way
Parents Place, the newest addition to The Guidance Center's impressive early childhood
program department, recently received $30,000 from the United Way of Westchester and Putnam (UWWP) through the “Thrive By Five” initiative. “Thrive By Five” helps young children enter school prepared to be successful.
“This is a natural partnership for Parents Place,” says Donna Morrison, Director of Early Childhood programs at The Guidance Center. “Parents Place is all about helping parents learn ways to enrich the educational, social and emotional development of their toddlers, getting them ready for those very important early learning years.”
Parents Place, located at 3 Carhart Avenue in White Plains, re-opens on Saturday, September 11th at 10 AM. Follow this link for more information.
The goal of “Thrive By Five” is to help young children arrive to school ready to learn and achieve. You can learn more at the UWWP website.
